A estadia em Moscavide foi muito agradável. O apartamento é exatamente como descrito. É muito acolhedor, espaçoso, confortável e está equipado com tudo o que é necessário até para viagens de longa duração. O apartamento encontra-se muito bem localizado, perto de tudo, não só a nível de transportes mas também de locais de interesse. Definitivamente recomendo a estadia neste apartamento. A anfitriã é muito simpática, atenciosa e prestável. Espero voltar com mais tempo. Sem dúvida foi uma ótima experiência. Obrigada por tudo!

From the time we booked the apartment to the time we left, the communication with the owner was excellent. When we first arrived we were met by the owner who took us around the apartment and explained all the amenities. A printed city guide was also available explaining the local bus routes and city tours, and the owner took time to explain everything to us. The apartment is very functional with everything you might need and the main bedroom has an on-suite bathroom and there is also a guest bathroom. There are 3 local supermarkets in the area. There is a bus stop near the apartment with a bus that takes you all the way to the Lisbon port, this is advisable as it gets very busy in the high season so it is difficult to park your car. There is also an allocated parking space by the side of the apartment. Lisbon is a beautiful city and well worth visiting, so if your looking to rent an apartment with very nice owners and great facilities, then this is the place for you.

Adelaide is a wonderful host! This place is so charming and sweet, and it’s right by the metro station so it’s easy to get around. Adelaide was always quick and helpful and gracious whenever we had questions, and she made everything we needed available for us. We definitely made the right decision for where to stay in Lisbon and we look forward to staying again next time

What a great experience sleeping on board a sailing boat and actually sailing it. To see Lisbon at sunset from the boat has been amazing. The boat itself offers enough space for two and one sleeps in the cabin quite well. Cleaning facilities are basic but come with a decent shower/toilets so all you need.

To make it short: the best airbnb I’ve stayed in so far. The place is much more spacious than what I expected, everything is really neat and clean. Adelaide was very kind and responded our messages in minutes, she also made some recomendations on places and things we could do during our stay. All I can say is it was a very pleasant stay, would totally choose it again.

Thank you, Adelaide and Paolo for having the entire family stay on the Santa Maria II. The children absolutely loved sleeping on a sailboat and we all enjoyed the ‘surprise’ sail on the river. Checking in was super easy and your flexibility was very much appreciated. I was worried about the cold water only situation but showering in the marina facility was super easy! We loved the adventure of staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again 🙂 Thank you for providing everything we needed, including a heater 😉 and for being so quick to reply to our questions. Super great experience. Top ratings all around on the accommodation. Also, the sailing opportunity was wonderful! Take a private sail all around porto on the very boat you’re staying on. Private secured parking area, and a 2 minute walk from the tram. Probably the best place to stay in Lisbon; definitely the most interesting and fun place to stay. Top Marks!

L’appartement d’Adélaïde est grand, propre, calme et très bien équipé. Il est proche de l’aéroport (mais aucun bruit d’avions), et plusieurs transports permettent d’atteindre facilement le centre de Lisbonne mais aussi Belem ou Sintra. Parfait pour notre séjour de 15 jours en famille à la découverte de la capitale et de ses environs! Nous étions comme à la maison! Merci Adélaïde pour ce super accueil!!!

Super appartement, très propre et spacieux avec tout le nécessaire pour s’y sentir bien. Adelaide a été très dévouée pour nous et s’est montrée très disponible durant notre séjour. C’est vraiment une personne adorable qui fera tout pour vous arranger et que vous vous sentiez au mieux ! De plus il est très bien desservi avec le metro juste a côté ( 5 min de l’aéroport !) Et pas mal de bus qui passent dans la rue et vous permette d’aller dans le centre ville ! Je vous le recommande vivement !

What a great experience staying on the Santa Maria. It was everything we hoped for. As a guest, you must remember it is a boat so it will be different than any traditional accommodations but that was the fun of it! Paulo, Adelaide’s husband, was such a great host for us. Once we were settled on the boat, he took us for authentic Bifana sandwiches in the marina…delicious! The following day, Paulo took us on a tour of Sinatra and his childhood home of Cascais which far exceeded anything we could’ve booked anywhere else. He was knowledgeable and let us have say in what we did, which was great. He even brought to a surprise ending spot for the views of Lisbon and a quick stop at the supermarket! If you are looking for something other than traditional apartment/hotel stays in Lisbon, this is your place. Just try to bring a bag that isn’t as large as mine was since, well, you are staying on a boat!

Excellent place to stay!!! Both the accommodation and the hosts are brilliant, best Airbnb stay so far. It is really nice to stay on a sailing boat, and as it is in a port, there are not many waves to disturb your sleep. Good location, just between the Old Town and Belem. We also went on a 4 hour long sailing which was a great experience! I can only recommend it!

A experiência de ficar hospedado no Veleiro Santa Maria II foi maravilhosa. A Marina fica muito próxima a muitos pontos interessantes de Lisboa que podem ser atingidos mesmo a pé.Tivemos a oportunidade de velejar com o Paulo e Adelaide no Rio Tejo e este dia ficará para sempre em nossa memória. Adelaide has the most amazing boat! It’s close to a ton of healthy restaurants and rooftop bars. They were incredibly hospitable and understanding when we had to check out early since my friend ended up getting a little sea sick. I have big plans to bring my family here for such an amazing experience!

A única observação não tanto positiva é o fato de neste período do ano o calor ser excessivo e apesar do andar alto a ventilação natural não foi suficiente para dar o conforto necessário, para este tipo de clima seria necessário ar condicionado ou circuladores de ar. Do mais foi tudo muito bom, a Adelaide está de parabéns!

I can only speak in superlatives. It was a great stay thanks to our host. Paulo made it even special with the private tour on the river. We had all we needed and got many great recommendations so we did not have to spend time collecting info. Perfect stay for 4 days in this vibrant colourful city!

Great appartment with everything you need except airco, but the appartment does not get hot and if get in and open some windows it gets fresh quickly. It has alot of space, 2 badrooms, one with shower and one with a bathtub. The beds are really comfortable and soft. Getting to the center takes about 30 to 40 min, but the owners are very helpfull in explaming the best ways to explore the city. Which saves alot of time.

Adelaide was easy to contact and had excellent communication when my flight arrived early in the day and I needed to leave my luggage at the apartment. The place itself was great and true to the desciption on the listing, thank you!

Very good apartment, everything as on the pictures and even better. It’s clean, spacious, comfortable, cozy, there are pretty decorations and details. It has everything you need. I liked secluded terrace to have meals outside and enjoy nice weather. Communication with the hosts was nice and helpful. I’d like to return. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

We stayed on the boat Santa Maria 2 for three nights. And I definitely recommend this sort of accomodation in Lisboa(we were there early spring)! Host Paulo is such a kind person, he told us many lifehacks, Sent to us detailed routes for moving in Lisboa and nearby areas. Prepared some tips of visiting the city. It was so great to meet sunrise on the boat. the location is very good to take a tram abd will be on placa de commercio in less than 5 min. And the most unbelivable and wonderful moment was when Paulo surprised us with inviting into sailing tour on the boat. It was great. I will never forget this interesting expirience on Santa Maria 2.

L appartement est situé dans le quartier de Moscavide qui est authentique, on y trouve tous les petits commerces nécessaires. le marché est à proximité et Il y a des petits restaurants sympas et pas chers très près de l appartement. Les rencontre avec les gens locaux sont faciles et sympathiques. Pour se rendre à Lisbonne centre, préférer le métro (ligne rouge et verte) qui est rapide. le bus 728 met une heure pour arriver place du commerce et est plus souvent encombré. Tres bonne experience dans l appartement d Adélaïde qui a ete tres accueillante a notre arrivée.

We loved staying on this boat!!! Excellent location, easy to get everywhere from, so calm and quiet, the most chilled spot in the city I reckon! It was cosy, we had everything we needed, the hosts took care of every need and were super responsive and kind. Beautiful to wake up with the water – really enhanced our stay. Very thorough info booklet provided by hosts too. Be aware that as this is a real boat on real water, it can sway with the weather and wind etc will have an impact. We didn’t mind at all – we loved this element too! But am mentioning as some other people criticised the accommodation… but clearly weather is part of the deal. Thank you Paulo for all your help and we really recommend this boat. Great value, fun and cosy

Wat een heerlijk verblijf! lekker dobberen in een zeilboot in de haven van Lisabon. Op loopafstand van vele highlights! Met als toetje eventueel een zeiltocht met Paulo, die in zijn enthousiasme zonder problemen, de hele tocht kletst en bijpraat over de geschiedenis van Portugal en Lissabon en zijn zeilcarriere. Je moet als gast wel een beetje flexibel ingesteld zijn; ook lichamelijk. Verblijf op het zeilschip is klein en knus, maar wel compleet. Graag komen we nog een keer terug!

Der Aufenthalt auf dem Boot war ein besonderes Erlebnis. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie luden uns sogar auf einen Bootstrip ein. Das war eine tolle Erfahrung. Die Kommunikation klappte perfekt. Das Boot war zwar einfach ausgestattet, aber es war alles vorhanden, was man gebraucht hat. Wir haben nichts Grundlegendes vermisst. Warme Duschen waren gleich nebenan, ebenso die nächste S-Bahn bzw Busstation. Es ist zwar ein Club gleich in der Nähe, man hörte nachts aber keine laute Musik. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich die LX-Factory. Wirklich sehenswert und einfach nur Hip. Wenn man Urlaub in einer Hafenstadt macht, gehört es einfach dazu, auf einem Boot zu übernachten. Frühstücken auf dem Deck war einfach wunderbar! Eine Erfahrung, an die man immer wieder gerne zurück denkt. Danke für alles

Adelaide and Paulo were outstanding hosts! I found them honest, caring and thoughtful. The place was even better than described. They also conducted a personalized tour for us to the Algarve which was a highlight. I would definitely stay here again, if not for the unit, to at least hang out with Adelaide and Paulo again!

The apartment is very clean, with a well equipped kitchen, bedroom nice and cozy, great shower. everything working perfectly. Within a walkable distance from Parque das Nações, there is a lot of options if you are on foot or by car, just two blocks you can find supermarket, groceries from all kind, is a very calm neighborhood. Adelaide was very helpful since beginning with a clear and fast communication as well, and so friendly that made us feel at home. Obrigado Adelaide.

Staying on a boat in the marina is without doubt the best way to visit Lisbon and still be able to relax and enjoy the tranquility of waking up to the reflections on the water, or falling asleep to the gentle rocking of the boat. Adelaide and Paulo were fantastic hosts. The transfers to and from the airport made it really easy. The trip to Sintra and Cascais with Paulo was a great day out that could not have been done like that on public transport. We really enjoyed seeing the Pena Palace, Moorish Castle and the western most point in Europe – Cabo da Roca. Paulo shared some other special spots along the way that we leave as surprises for the next visitors. The facilities at the marina could do with a revamp, so don’t expect any luxuries there – not really unexpected for yotties. We were a bit surprised by the ongoing background noise from traffic on the 25 Avril Bridge not too far away. Also the marina is just off the main airport flight path. The bicycles provided by Paulo and Adelaide at no extra charge were great and made it really easy to get to the main part of town which is a good 40 minute walk. Groceries can be bought nearby and some good restaurants are within easy walking distance. If you stay on the Santa Maria II, make sure you eat at the local marina Roulote – the Bifana, Sopa and Sagres are great! Overall an excellent stay with great hosts. We highly recommend this experience.

The apartment was exactly as described with everything we needed. It was perfectly situated in a neighbourhood that is full of life, close to the Metro, airport and Parque de Nascoes. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly even collecting me from the airport, providing maps and pointing out areas of interest. They even drove some distance at a moment’s notice to provide me with a phone charger! We loved our stay. Many thanks.

Eine sehr schöne, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung. Sie wäre auch für ein Paar oder eine kleine Familie ideal. Schade, dass ich mich vor meiner Reise für die zweite Urlaubshälfte für ein Hotel in Lissabon entschieden habe. Die Wohnung von Adelaide ist schöner, ruhiger und besser als jedes Hotel !

Adelaide and Paulo are the best! Not only the communication with both of them was excellent from the start, Paulo even invited us for a sailing tour. Lisbon was great and the apartment of Adelaide and Paulo is excellent can be reached on foot well the Park of Nations , but also the old downtown and Belem are very well connected by bus and subway from Moskavide from, also the airport. We were warmly welcomed and well taken care of with information and advice and we felt in the beautiful apartment very well . The neighborhood was quiet and helpful and there are many small shops where you can get everything they need . Thanks again to Adelaide , Paulo and family , they are great hosts !!!

Loved staying aboard the Santa Maria II. Paulo’s boat is well equipped and cozy, and is excellent value for money. The marina where the boat is docked is centrally located and even just across from a few nightlife options! There’s nothing quite like being gently rocked to sleep, and the marina itself is fairly quiet (though you will likely hear music from the nightclubs well into the morning if you’re a light sleeper). Even when we stayed in the midst of what was one of Lisbon’s colder nights (about 7-degrees Celsius), the cabin was kept toasty warm thanks to the electric heater we had going. As you’d expect on a small boat, washroom facilities are limited, but Paulo did a good job of explaining everything ahead of time and pointed us to the option of using the shared facilities at the main marina building if needed. Communication with Paulo has been by far some of the best I’ve had with an Airbnb host! He’s thoughtful, informative, and goes out of his way to help where possible. Highly recommended, two thumbs wayyy up!

Vamos tentar resumir… se existe um lugar no airbnb em que você queira ficar como se fosse sua casa, este lugar é o espaço da Adelaide e do Paulo, tudo o que foi descrito pelos demais viajantes e corresponde ao nosso caso, não posso deixar de mencionar… todos os dias ficava olhando aquele guarda-chuvas verde ao lado da porta… me perguntava o motivo… e não é que um dia precisamos dele… ? quem lembra de levar um guarda-chuvas na viagem? nos amparou e como simbologia do espaço, nos acolheu e nos protegeu… Moscavide é um ponto estratégico, proximo ao metro e que nos levou por todos os cantos de Portugal e até Madrid, sempre partindo da Estação Oriente, seja por trem (comboio) ou de ônibus (autocarro), mesmo de madrugada, se voce nao quiser ir a pé o taxi custa apenas 5,00 até o local… O comércio local tem de tudo, mercado, padarias (pastelarias) acougues, e tudo o mais que você precisar. Quanto à prestatividade e atenção do casal, este espaço seria pequeno para descrever suas qualidades e profissionalismo.

O apartamento é bem localizado, muito aconchegante. As roupas de cama e toalhas são ótimas. O espaço é ótimo para estar com crianças também. Há duas estações de metrô muito próximas, ponto de táxi em frente do prédio, assim como ponto de ônibus. Fica muito fácil se deslocar pela cidade a partir desse ponto. A comunicação é muito rápida e eficiente. Certamente, ficaríamos no apto novamente.

The location is fantastic, the boat is beautiful, and the host is wonderful. It’s a nice change from the usual hostels and hotels and a very cool way to experience the city! Would recommend to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment and Lisbon. Paulo was very welcoming and helpful providing maps and information about the area and showing me the best ways to get around. The apartment is very clean and has everything you need with a lovely outside area. The neighbourhood is very friendly and I felt totally safe. It was a perfect location to explore Lisbon with the metro being very easy to use and it was a lovely walk down by the river to the Parque das Nacoes. I would definitely return!

O apartamento surpreendeu no tamanho, muito espaçoso e confortável. A cozinha conta com tudo que é necessário, inclusive máquina de lavar roupas, o que é ótimo numa viagem longa. Super expérience ! Le bateau est bien situé, belle vue sur la marina et le pont du 25 avril, nous n’avons pas été dérangés par le bruit, Adelaide et Paulo sont très sympathiques et arrangeants et la balade en bateau dans la baie au coucher du soleil était magique ! Merci encore !

Our two nights on the ‘Santa Maria’ were a surprise for my boyfriend – and he loved it, as did I. The location was amazing – just imagine waking up to the famous red bridge! Also check-in and parking were very comfortable and made it so easy to start in a relaxed holiday. Thanks for everything, we’d love to come back.
